Shop With The Force

Stance wanted to launch limited-edition Star Wars socks at the height of the movie’s marketing hype, while standing out from big-box retailers.

We launched a three-pronged, hyper-targeted campaign designed to transform Star Wars fans into Stance shoppers. We kicked off with “Shop With The Force,” an e-commerce experience that allowed users to browse and purchase socks just by waving their hand — like a true Jedi master. Shop With The Force turned an old-school product carousel into a first-of-its-kind experience. Sales projections were beat by 300% and Stance had its single highest sales day ever. Stance even became the number two trending topic on Twitter. And the work took Gold for Mobile at Cannes and The One Show.
